Adobong Pusit is a tasty squid dish cooked using the popular Filipino adobo method.


1 kg fresh squid
1 head garlic, minced
1/3 cup native vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 cup squid broth
2 onion, chopped
6 tomatoes, chopped (optional)
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp magic sarap


1. Boil squid in garlic, vinegar, water and salt.
2. When tender, take out squid and remove membrane, eyes and stomach.
3. Set 1/2cup broth aside.
4. Cut squid into 1" pieces.
5. Set aside.
6. Saute garlic,onion and tomatoes in oil.
7. Add squid's broth.
8. Season with salt and magic sarap.
